The Highway To Quality Business Banking Leads And Closing Deals!

When the going gets tough, a lot of us get bogged down by the challenges we are facing and completely miss the opportunities staring us in the face! I have been guilty of doing this as well!  I often remind my 9-year-old that his attitude about a particular task will determine how easy it will be for him to complete or how miserable he will make it for himself! Attitude is everything…it orients you in the right direction…but the work does not end just because you have a good attitude.  New clients won’t be knocking down your door just because you have a good attitude. You still need to do the work. The difference is that by having a positive attitude you will work hard knowing that you will find the solution versus not being able to move an inch because you have accepted defeat!

It is about a guy who was in a tough situation and because he had the right attitude, he was able to see the opportunity staring him in the face and started a thriving business. Another reason I liked the article is because the marketing approach he uses is very relevant to Business Banking. I often preach that a way to a business owner’s heart is through delivering value upfront! If you want to get a prospect’s attention, you need to determine the challenges & opportunities your prospects are facing in the marketplace and show them how you can help take advantage of the opportunities or overcome the challenges…before you ask for their business!  Like the article states, business owners want to know how you are going to help them!
